Hello, sunshine! I'm Lucia.

I'm a graphic designer with a knack for beautiful type, curating book covers, and using vibrant colors.

I do a little bit of everything, but mostly I design books. I'm currently based in Miami and happily working from home after running away from the NYC winters. I graduated from Syracuse University (even more cold) where I earned my degree in graphic design.

Currently, I spend my days designing quirky children's books for the Viking imprint of Penguin Random House. A vocation that is as fun and exceptional as it sounds. Look out for titles such as Peanut, Butter, & Crackers; The Hungry Ghosts; and Ozzie & Prince Zebedee on the bookshelves!

I work in both print & digital formats doing anything from branding to social media, skills I got to refine during my summer internship at NBCUniversal and USA Network; where I also helped with the rebrand of non-profit Equality for Her

I got into design when I was editor-in-chief of my senior high school yearbook, where I also aided in reinstating the school newspaper as an online publication. Alas, a designer was born. I honed my skills with great professors at the Newhouse School, worked for organizations such as The CLLCTVE, and the Office of Executive Education Programs at Syracuse University to create their advertisements and campaigns, while I reimagined book covers during my off time (and read lots of them while working at the library).

My logo is a representation of the magical aspect of design: how it goes from ideation to creation and poof! suddenly (but through very hard work and many many iterations) you have something that didn't exist before.
